He was presented with the Cyprus Theatre Award twice, in 2008 and 2022. In 2010 he was the Art Director for E. Demetriou’s film Fish n’ Chips and in 2021 he was the Production Designer for A. Proedrou’s film Behind the Haystacks. In 1999 he designed an interactive exhibition for the centennial anniversary of the Bank of Cyprus. In 2004 he designed the Kokkinia Blockade Memorial Museum. The first images for this contemporary, profoundly political project were the photos of the devastating fire Grenfell Tower building, London. The play might as well unfold among the ruins of the catastrophic social policy in a contemporary capitalistic metropolis. The unbearably cruel action distorts, breaks the floor and creates an unbalanced stage setting. In the theatre foyer, the arrangement of spectators on both sides was chosen in a catwalk stage. Thus, spectators and society watch what is happening in that ordinary apartment, how ordinary people become monsters. At the same time, they also look at themselves. Half the spectators are the background of the action for the other half. The only connection with the here and now of the performance is the door through which harsh reality invades the seemingly quiet bourgeois life.
