He has designed for the majority of public and private theatre companies in Athens, as well as other cities in Greece including: The National Theatre of Greece, Greek National Opera, Athens Epidaurus Festival, Onassis Stegi, Megaron The Athens Concert Hall, Theatro Technis/Karolos Koun Arts Theatre, the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus, the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation. In 2011, he curated the Greek participation in the PQ11 Theatre Architecture section that won a Gold Medal. After the end of the world; an Archive of Frustrated Plans is a hybrid, multimedia, participatory theatre performance. One actress and one actor present a radio broadcast. The audience listens to them through earphones given at the entrance, sharing a common space, in silence and “solitude”. During the performance, they share their own frustrated plans, through a mobile application especially developed for the show altering, thus, the performance text every night depending on their answers. The performance originally emerged from the need to speak for all those things that “froze” during the Covid pandemic and lockdowns. The collaboration with the director, that started long before the finalisation of the project’s format, encouraged me to explore all non-visual aspects and focus on its dramaturgic content. In its final format, a “broadcasting booth” was designed as an individual element and a focal point that could be placed anywhere.
