The interactive Bubble Jam performance stage was designed and developed simultaneously with the development of the text and its dramaturgy. Drawing on the influence from visual and applied arts and technology, my objective was to create a space of interaction with the spectators, for they -as heroes- remain in that space throughout the performance. A space that follows and underpins the project’s dramaturgy, consisting of points, parts of the digital world that spectators are invited to discover, collecting the information they are given and recording it anew in their mobile phones, thus affecting the progress of the performance. A unique experience of collaboration with Rimini Protokoll was born due to the hybrid theatre form that combines performing arts, technology and visual installations. This artistic cooperation encouraged me to reflect on contemporary theatre / performance design.
